Krystal Phillip is a native of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. She serves ICIS as its secretary/treasurer. Professionally she is a senior lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire, UK. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology Andrews University Berrien Springs Michigan, USA; a Master of Science Degree in Biodiversity at the University of Pune, India; a Master of Science Degree in Zoology from Vinayaka Missions University, India; and a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, with a minor in Genetics at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), Philippines.

Krystal is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and is pursuing a PCE in post compulsory education. Krystal sees teaching as a calling, and is particularly interested in helping students from disenfranchised background improve their performances and thus increases their prospects for a future career. According to Krystal, “the classroom is an ideal place to influence and shape lives and give students the self-confidence needed to achieve success.” Her aim is to see iCare so iShare Internationally continue to change lives one child at a time.
